George Bemment gives her perspective from a 36 year career working as a bat roost visitor, surveyor and consultant. Expect field signs, dead rats and greater horseshoe bats
The talk will start at 7.30pm, with a break for refreshments part way through. Parking is next to the Boniface Centre, behind the church at Church Walk.
George will be selling copies of her book (£12 hardback, £10 paperback) and there will also be artwork from the book on sale, and second-hand books. Cash preferred, but we will be able to take card payments.

The Return of the Pine Marten to the Southwest

Join the Two Moors Field Officer for Exmoor Ali North to learn about the recovery of pine martens in the southwest. Ali will provide an insight into the breadth and range of activities that make up a species reintroduction, provide an update on the animals released on Dartmoor in Autumn 2024 and an overview of the recent translocation of pine martens to Exmoor.
The talk will start at 7.30pm, with refreshments beforehand. Parking is next to the Boniface Centre, behind the church at Church Walk.
